SF6 Gas filled test transformer
The use of SF6 gas in power frequency withstand voltage test transformers can have better insulation and arc extinguishing performance. To achieve insulation, a large amount of SF6 gas is added to the test transformer. Based on the insulation and arc extinguishing properties of SF6 gas itself, this type of test transformer has no possibility of partial discharge even under high voltage conditions, which ensures the accuracy of the test results.
On the other hand, SF6 gas filled test transformers are 30% lighter than oil immersed test transformers, making them more convenient for outdoor use.

Working Principle
The power supply is fed into the operating table (box) with overcurrent automatic decoupling and zero-level chain device to prevent sudden pressurization, and the voltage is input into the primary winding of GDJQ test transformer by autotransformer regulation. This high frequency high voltage can be obtained by high voltage silicon stack rectification and voltage stabilization capacitor filtering DC high voltage, whose amplitude is √2 times of the effective value of high frequency high voltage.
