Introduction
Switch box is an optional accessory for GDVA-405 Automatic CT VT Tester.
With the switch box you can test multi-tap CT in one test for 5 taps CT. No need to test the different tap one by one. That can save lots of test time for multi-tap CT
Main Functions (with Switch Box)
Test setup window for multi-tap CT test
CT grouped testing includes demagnetisation, knee points, ratios, saturation curves, winding resistances, polarities and phase deviation (on all taps of multi-ratio CTs).
VT testing including demagnetisation, ratio, winding resistance, polarity and phase deviation
Performs secondary burden tests
Reduced Testing time with concurrent measurement of multi ratio CTs
Test and Display Ratio and phase error
Check the Polarity mark
Test and Display the winding resistance
Test and Display secondary loop burden
Test and Display Transient CT parameters
Measure & Display saturation hysteresis loop curve
Use switch box for multi-tap CT test. The main test results include ratio of different taps, winding resistance of different taps, ratio error and phase error at maximum current tap, excitation curve and knee point for all taps winding.
