What should we do if the breakdown voltage of the transformer oil is unqualified?

If the breakdown voltage of the transformer oil is unqualified, it means that the quality of the transformer insulating oil has deteriorated.
At this point, we need to conduct a comprehensive analysis through various experiments and operation records. If there is no obvious impurity, color change, and the micro-water test is qualified, it is recommended to do another chromatographic analysis and withstand voltage test of the transformer insulating oil to further judge whether it is an error in the test link or a problem with the transformer insulating oil sample.
The failure of the transformer oil withstand voltage test (ie breakdown voltage) does not mean that there must be a gas failure. There are many reasons, such as moisture, impurities, etc. We need to conduct a comprehensive analysis to determine the problem and propose solutions.
Our GDYJ-502A Transformer Oil Breakdown Voltage BDV Tester is used to measure breakdown voltage of transformer oil. The max output voltage are 80kV and 100kV. The test standards are IEC60156, IS6792, BS5874, ASTM D1816 and ASTM D877. It's touch screen, all the test standards will be shown on the screen. It can also measure oil temperature.
